General Information

SuperFade Face Treatment Cream is a medicated, pharmacy strength skin treatment to help fade pigmentation, such as brown skin blemishes including freckles, age spots and post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation on the Face. It contains a powerful active ingredient Hydroquinone (2%), for fighting pigmentation at the source. It has an applicator nozzle for precision application. You should see effective results in 6 weeks.

Brown skin blemishes, freckles and melasma occur when excessive pigmentation has resulted from the influence of sun exposure, hormonal variation, or skin type.

Hydroquinone is the gold standard in pigmentation fading and works by disabling the damaged melanocyte deep in the skin that produces excess melanin which then forms the brown pigment on the surface of the skin.

Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation:
(PIH) occurs after an injury to the skin. It is a discolouration of the skin that follows an inflammatory wound such as a rash, scrape, or pimple. Popping a pimple increases the chance of PIH as it is increasing the inflammation. As the skin starts to heal, the skin overproduces melanin, and this excess melanin darkens the skin. Unlike acne scaring, PIH is a type of pigmentation.

SuperFade Face Treatment Cream should be applied to the affected area only as it is specifically formulated for fighting unwanted pigmentation at the source. Results should begin to appear in just 6 weeks of regular and consistent use.

KEY FEATURES

• Salicylic Acid: Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) gently exfoliates. 4 way action: keratolytic, antiinflammatory, anti-microbial and improves skin function.

Warnings

Do not:
• Use on children
• Use near the eyes
• Exceed recommended dose. Excessive or prolonged use should be avoided because darkening of the skin can occur
• Dark skinned people should avoid long term and repeated use to lighten overall colour

Whilst using this product:
• Mild irritation may occur (mild stinging of treated skin; or - mild itching, dryness, redness, or other irritation). Stop use if it becomes severe
• Avoid exposure to the sun
• Use SPF 30+ sunscreen on any exposed areas

Do not use this product and see your doctor immediately if:
• If a pigmented spot or mole has recently become darker, changed colour, become enlarged or itchy, or bleeds

Ask a doctor if:
• Fading is not evident in three months

This product contains:
• Chlorocresol 0.1% w/w as a preservative
• Sulphites

CAUTION

Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children.

PRECAUTIONS

If a pigmented spot or mole has recently become darker, changed colour, become enlarged or itchy, or bleeds do not use this product, see your doctor immediately. Do not use on children. Do not use near the eyes.

Mild irritation may occur; stop use if it becomes severe. If fading is not evident in three months, seek doctor's advice. Do not exceed recommended dose. Excessive or prolonged use should be avoided because darkening of the skin can occur. Keep out of the reach of children. Always read the label. Follow the directions for use.

Directions

Apply Sparingly into areas to be treated only, twice daily and at bedtime. After desired fading is obtained use only as necessary to maintain results.
Before commencing treatment, test for allergic reaction over 24 hours with small patch of cream on inside of upper arm.

MORNING
1. Cleanse your face with Superfade Prep Start Pre-Treatment Cleanser
2. Apply SuperFade Accelerator Serum all over your face, neck and décolletage (optional)
3. Dab SuperFade Face Treatment Cream sparingly into the affected area only
4. Apply Superfade De Pigment Eye Gel-Cream (if you have pigmentation in the eye contour)
5. Then apply your Superfade De Pigment Moisturiser
6. Avoid exposure to the sun. Use Superfade Super Screen SPF50+ on any exposed areas.
7. Then apply your makeup

NIGHT:
1. Cleanse your face with Superfade Prep Start Pre-Treatment Cleanser
2. Apply SuperFade Accelerator Serum all over your face, neck and décolletage (optional)
3. Dab SuperFade Face Treatment Cream sparingly into the affected area only
4. Apply Superfade De Pigment Eye Gel-Cream (if you have pigmentation in the eye contour)
5. Then apply your Superfade De Pigment Moisturiser

Tip as suggested by dermatologists: if you have sensitive skin then start treatment at night only, using every second night for a week, then proceed to use every night for a week and then begin to use morning and night and as directed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super quick results I brought this due to my adult acne scars ive gotten lately, it said use twice a day for 4-6 weeks and you will see results by than but with 2 1/2 - 3 weeks it definetly faded all of my brown acnes scar spots, I was very sceptical about using this product but I'm glad I did and after it worked, I only use it once a day or so to keep it faded. I definetly highly recommend it and it has definetly kept my confidence up and face clear

I’m a little vein when it comes to even the tiniest blemishes on my face, but have very sensitive skin... 3 weeks in and literally even my darkest freckles are begininning to fade and I’m receiving compliments all round. Basically about to go buy it for everyone I know! ...although worth buying the “body” (not “face cream”- 20ml) version... only $5 extra for three times the volume (60ml)! and there is literally no different ingredients - I have the chemist triple check!

Bought on a whim, if it worked, it worked, if not it didn’t matter as wasn’t a huge expense. Noticed she the age spot I focused on lightening after a couple of weeks of using twice a day. It’s only been a month, but very happy with result for such a small expense.
