Warnings

The fluid content of MOVICOL
when re-constituted with water does not
replace regular fluid intake and adequate
fluid intake must be maintained.
Laxative products such as Movicol have the
potential to interact with other medications,
by altering their absorption. Close monitoring
of the effects of the medications may be
necessary when patient starts or stops
taking Movicol regularly. It is important that
the patient should discuss this with the
doctor.
If the patient is pregnant talk to the doctor
before taking Movicol.
If the patient needs to thicken fluids in order
to swallow them safely, Movicol may
counteract the effect of the thickener.

Active ingredients and Quantities per sachet/per 62.5 mL after preparation
Macrogol 3350 6.563 g
Sodium bicarbonate 89.3 mg
Sodium chloride 175.4 mg
Potassium chloride 15.9 mg.
Contains 93.4 mg of sodium and 13 mg of potassium. Contains 7.0 mg of benzyl alcohol. MOVICOL Junior Chocolate also contains chocolate flavour, and acesulfame potassium as a sweetener. The
chocolate flavour includes maltodextrin, acacia gum, vegetable oils and fats, propylene glycol, benzyl
alcohol and sulfites.

Contains: Contains 93.4 mg of sodium and 13 mg of potassium. Contains 7.0 mg of benzyl alcohol. MOVICOL Junior Chocolate also contains chocolate flavour, and acesulfame potassium as a sweetener. The
chocolate flavour includes maltodextrin, acacia gum, vegetable oils and fats, propylene glycol, benzyl
alcohol and sulfites.

Directions

* Open the sachet and pour the contents into a glass.
* Add 125 mL of water into the glass.
* Stir well until all the powder has dissolved and the MOVICOL Chocolate solution is clear or slightly hazy, then drink it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Successful! 5yo has had troubles since moving to solids. This has been THE most effective keeping her regular. Suggested by or GP. She has this with a milk of a morning, can be sprinkled on cereal also. Shes fussy amd we've had no issues with flavour. I recommend this to everyone. Safe to take daily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works best for us! I am very happy with this product... we’d tried two other brands and had also used suppositories and were having a difficult time. When I was pregnant my midwife said this brand was the only one I should use if I needed it and so I thought I’d give the kids version a go for our toddler and we haven’t looked back. This is the only one which has ‘normalised’ her . It’s been a game changer for us. We add it to milk and it’s like a chocolate milk treat which she loves!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent child friendly product My grandson has severe problems with constipation. Dietary changes made no difference. He is a huge water drinker and loves his fruit, and his mum is well aware of and has tried dropping various possible food causes. His paediatrician recommended using Movicol junior. My grandson hasn't looked back. He no longer fears having a painful, bowel movement and related issues are also no longer a concern. He has his Movicol on a semi regular basis, and because it acts by taking water to the bowel and not like a laxative, we no it's safer for him to use. Thanks to the chocolate flavour, he's happy to take his 'medicine'. We're more than happy to recommend this product.
