Carnitine is an amino acid and supports the utilisation of fat as an energy source. It transports long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria so that they can be 'burned' to produce energy. Carnitine is also an antioxidant which assists the body from free radical damage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny I have been using this product for over a year. I take it approx 30 to 60 min before training. I can feel it kick in and it gives me more energy during my workouts and my mind stays clear and focused during the workout even when I have become fatigued. There is a noticeable difference to my workout when I don't use it especially towards the end of the workout. If you can keep focused you can train hard through your entire workout. I keep some in my training bag and some in my car. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to to turn fat to energy but most of all a clear mind for really hard workouts.
