However these were not good for a cut on my finger. Went soggy and lost adhesion when I washed my hands. For this reason I prefer the plastic/washproof variety rather than fabric.

You use to apply and it would be close to a week before you could even see the slightest bit coming off. Nowadays you apply and the stick is not great, it's falling off within a day, not great if wet. Bring back the old ones.
