General Information

Protect your lips with this SPF 50+ lip balm. Dermatologically tested, it contains moisturising Vitamin E and cocoa butter, and is 4 hours water resistant.

Provide very high UVA and UVB broad spectrum protection to your lips with SunSense Lip Balm SPF 50+. It is suitable for all skin types, provides 4 hours water resistance and includes moisturising Vitamin E and cocoa butter. Its glide on applicator helps ensure even coverage over the lips. Free of preservatives and lanolin, this lip balm has been dermatologically tested and is Australian made and owned.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Avoid prolonged sun exposure and wear protective clothing, hats and eyewear to further reduce risk. Frequent re-application is required.

The fact that it has an spf of 50+ is an added bonus. The only down side is that initially it was a bit tricky to get it out of the tube, but once you have done that first one every application after is fine. I am absolutely in love with the packaging of this balm. What an alluring packaging for a lip balm. Can apply easily and keep your lips oily and glittery for long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Discontinued? This is my favourite lip balm for daytime. It feels velvety soft and the tube lasts a long time. I particularly like that there is no flavour to it. I went to the trouble of buying from Australia because it is no longer available in NZ. Bought at a very cheap price so i suspect the product may be discontinued and old stock is being cleared out now - glad I got stocked up myself!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hydrating and protecting Im a big fan of this SunSense Lip Balm SPF 50+ as I can pop it on before I leave the house and it lasts for 4hrs on my lips when im out and about. I tend to get dry lips when im outside or if it's very hot weather and this really does hydrate my lips and makes them super soft. The lip balm doesn't have a scent/fragrance or taste to it and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. My kids use it too. It is also affordable and I would definitely recommend this to everybody as it protects the lips from the sun. I love it!

Converting over to fragrance free skincare and trying to be cruelty free as well, letting go of my regulars was hard. But I'm glad I tried this. At first I wanted one in a stick form but I am used to the applicator tube. You have to squeeze a bit as it is a thicker consistency but at least you don't get product everywhere with the slightest squeeze. It gives a nice even coat. The balm itself is surprisingly moisturising and long lasting as far as lip balms go. It actually lasts better than my regular popular brand stick lip balms. It is pleasant feeling, not sticky at all (very smooth) and has no apparent taste or odour which is a bonus. It leaves a nice shine to the lips. Highly recommend you try it for the price.

It is so good to prevent sunburn while nourishing my lips and then extra good to apply when I did get sunburnt (i forgot to put it on!)<br />This lip balm is encouraging on many levels:<br />+ Fragrance free (so non-irritating to the skin)<br />+Is contained in tube packaging, which will help to keep ingredients fresh<br />+Clearly prints the product date and expiry date (good stuff to know)<br />+Has a UVA rating for four stars ('superior')<br />+The texture isn't super sticky (a pet hate of mine)<br />+The price is very reasonable- $5.99

It is a creamy and moisturising formula. Especially great for those with sensitive lips from being on Roaccutane as the SPF50 really protects that area well The tube is a convenient glide-on design. It is a squeeze tube and only a little needs to be squeezed out per use. It's handy to have one of these in the handbag. It's good that it's designed as a unisex product as guys need to protect their lips just as much as girls!

It's not runny at all and not too thick, and it spreads out evenly and simply. It also adds a really nice shine to your lips without it being sticky, and also keeps your lips super soft. I use this twice a day, and find that it keeps my lips moisturised for half a day at a time at least.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value sun protection for the lips. I use lip balm regularly. It is one product that I won't do without especially in our climate that tends to be dry. This product is packaged in a tube with a screw top lid. It is a white semi-soft balm that can be directly applied to the lips using the tube as the tube top is slanted. I like the fact that this balm contains SPF50+ as it is the only lip balm I own with such a high sun protection factor. The balm is tasteless and applies as a film on my lips which keeps them soft and moisturised for hours. I notice that I don't have to reapply the lip balm unless it has been rubbed off in the process of eating and drinking and that's a wonderful plus for me. I always keep a tube of this product in my handbag and at $7.95 for a 15ml tube, I certainly think it's worth it. I am one who cares a lot about protecting my face by using SPF containing skin care products so I'm delighted that I now have a lip balm too that contains SPF50+ as well.

Not only that, this little baby has a smooth, melty balm consistency that would just sink into the lips and keep them soft and happy. I have nothing else to say about this lip balm, except that you NEED to get out there and grab one for yourself, so get cracking! This lives in my bag, and I'm seriously contemplating picking another up so that I can have a back up if it should disappear. Would you believe that this is also insanely affordable?

Surprising this is much better than much of my other lip balms that I own, and unlike my other lip balms this works well at protecting my lips from sun damage. I will definitely be repurchasing this product, as its a great feel and great protection from the weather.

It offers high protection from the sun and nourishes lips during the day. Apply frequently throughout the day to keep lips protected. Apply to dry lips 20 minutes before sun exposure. The lip balm is off white in colour with a thick consistency. Texture is smooth and creamy. Very mild aroma, can hardly smell it. Easy to apply with the glide on applicator. The lip balm smooths onto lips, its rich, pliable and light. It feels soothing, smooths and softens lips. Absorbs into as well as leaves a protective lightweight coat. The off white creamy balm changes to a shiny clear protective film. Wear it under or over lipstick, depends on preference. This is a quality lip balm for everyday use. Can use it to protect and moisturise lips when swimming, its up to 4 hours water resistant. Its versatile, great to have on hand for the family.

It is easy to apply, stays on for hours and leaves lips feeling soft and slightly shiny. I have definitely noticed a difference since starting to use this. Plus, this is both water and sun resistant!

Its marketed at a spf 50 sunscreen/ moisturising lip balm and I really believe it delivers. I purchased this for sunscreen and with the addition of spf 50 its brilliant. You squeeze and its easy to glide the applicator over your lips and you only need a tiny amount. - I dont have a problem with it at all. It delivers the right amount. I find the lip balm really thick and soft and applies lovely onto the lips. The balm for me is the perfect consistency - its rich and smooth and leaves my lips soft and smooth. This balm has no fragrence and no colour- so thats positive and perfect for those with sensitive skin or allergies. At times if you apply too much it can look very white and sunscreenish but only if you apply alot- you really only need a tiny bit. The price is afforable, its easy to put in your bag (hardly takes up any room), and it protects me- I believe this will last all summer and even more. Totally love this product- Ill be taking it on holidays with me!
