Rated 5 out of 5 by from Schick Hydro Silk The Schick Hydro Silk razor is the only one that I use because it's the only once that provides me with a sufficient amount of moisture so that I don't get any irritation going on. The heads are replaceable and they pop off very easily. I have a little razor storage plug that suctions to the tiles in my shower that my razor sits in and I like to keep that up high out of the way from any water because if you allow the razor to get wet the moisture strip goes all gluey and wastes away so you'll need to keep it dry and away from water for it to last you. I find the razor comfortable to use and doesn't tug or pull on any hairs from any part of the body I use it on. And I also find the handle comfortable to hold and doesn't slip out of my hand when wet or soapy. I haven't had and cuts from this razor either. I highly recommend this to anyone who shaves. 10/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Schick Hydro Silk I have used the Schick Hydro Silk razor for many years as it is a great and reliable razor which I know works very well, the cut of hair is so close to the skin I don’t have to shave as often as I have had to with other brands. It does not irritate my skin which gives me piece of mind knowing I can use it with confidence and won’t get any irritation I think this is partly because of the gel attached to the razor. I buy this in a pack with the refill cartridges from the chemist which lasts me usually many months to a year or more as I have had laser hair removal so don’t need to shave as often as I once did. I would definitely recommend this razor to normal and sensitive skin types.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Schick Hydro Silk I have purchased the Schick Hydro Silk Razors for a long time usually for use on my underarms and legs. I used to wax then shaved before having ipl treatments. I always grab this on special at the chemist I like that it comes with the refill cartridges. I find the gel inbuilt into the razor helps it to glide nicely and comfortably over the skin without causing any friction or cuts whilst moisturising the area at the same time. I experience no irritation from these razors it also cuts so close to the skin for the smoothest shave.

The product design is very modern and easy to grip to the handle and the blade head moves to the alignment and position of my underarms and leg shapes. What I have noticed is it is a lot smoother than all the other shavers I have tried. This Schick Hydro Silk Shea butter is great, 5 curve sensing blades that take off the hairs on my legs and underarms smoothly without any cuts. And it certainly does do what it says it leaves my legs especially moisturised for a little while after I have shaved.

Provides the perfect amount of lubrication that works with the blades for a precise shave without the irritation. Easy to grip and flexibility for the delicate lady areas. Growing up I nearly always got razor burn and bumps, however I don't have issues with this one and it lasts a while before you need to change the cartridge so the value isn't bad at all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth as silk Previously I had a phobia for not using 5 bladed razor. I didn't want any cuts. But this razor, changed everything. The blades last longer and give you a smooth close shave without cutting your skin. I'm extremely happy with it. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best I received this razor in the last Rewards Room, and have using it ever since. It is probably the best razor in the market. You get a smooth shave and the gel leaves the skin soft. You also get very little to no cuts which is a bonus. It comes in a little kit with a refill and a hanger. The refills need to be bought separately and are a little pricey better to get when half price.

It's also on promotion a lot at coles so ends up being at a really good price. The handle grip is great as is the moisturising strip. In order to keep it in good condition its best to dry it after use and keep it in a dry place to prevent the gel from leaking.

I like that it had the soft rubber grip so i dont keep dropping it in the shower. I also liked the mositurising strip as i could just grab the razor and go without needing the use of a shaving gel/cream. was convenient and did a good job.

After hair growing back due to hormones after many laser treatments I was looking for a very easy shaving solution (as I was very NOT happy about the hair growing back!) So when I found a razor that you didn't need to use cream with - or soap which just dies out the skin - I was delighted to find a razor that had this built in. Close shave an by the time the moisturising shave stuff runs out you need a new head anyway due to blunt blades - but this takes plenty of uses to happen!

I have been using my husbands Gilette men’s facial razor and after using this I’ll never go back. The handle is comfortable and fits perfectly in my hand and the 5 blades skim effortlessly across my skin and have cut my shaving time down by more than half. There is no more going over and over the same area, one pass was enough for a very close shave.<br />The moisturising strip added hydration and didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. My only negative is that the razor can be difficult to manoeuvre in the tight contours of my ‘personal’ areas, I’m used to smaller blades.

This is such a good razor.<br />Both myself and my Mother tried these a few years ago and haven't looked back!!<br />The handle is easy to hold and the fact there are five blades means it glides over the skin. Unlike with cheaper alternatives this razor is so extra that it is often unnecessary to shave over the same areas again and again to remove hair which is great because who wants to do that? No one!!<br />There are moisture strips on both sides of the head which makes the skin feel smooth and you don't even need to use shaving gel because of this. Your skin feels nice and not dry or irritated.<br />It has a replaceable head so you can use a refill once the blades get blunt meaning you don't even need to buy a new razor.

I usually use disposable razors and have considered buying one of these but am always put off by how expensive the refill cartridges are. It is a really good quality razor and gives good results. It does give better results than a disposable and lots of hydration but the refills being $5 each has put me off continuing to use it

The head of the razor is capable of turning to many different angles as you use it and the handle is easy to hold onto. I had no problem with cuts or nicks. Unfortunately mine did break as it fell from the shelf in my shower and snapped from the head. If these were available a bit cheaper or in value packs I would probably buy this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and silky shave I received this product as part of my Best in Beauty prize pack. I had never used this before receiving it Razors are my saviours. Due to running a family, hubbys business on the side, working fulltime and blogging part time, I rarely have time for self maintenance. I wish I had 30 mins to sit and relax and wait for a depilatory cream to dissolve my hairs and wash away, but I don't. Schick Hydro silk is easy to use. Its smooth on the skin and I haven't had a nick in the skin yet! I love how close it shaves. I don't get red or irritated and definitely no stinging. I occasionally get itchy when shaving but I dont with this shaver I am super happy with this product and will purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Say goodbye to razor cuts! I am in love with this razor. I am one of those people that no matter what I do, I end up covered in cuts from shaving. I am not sure whether I was just hopeless, or my razor was awful. I recently started using this razor and I am in love It is so comfortable in the hand, lightweight without that cheap feeling. And it shaves so well. It glides easily over the skin, the razor head moving with your contours. The razor heads also leave your skin super hydrated and feeling silky smooth. If you want a good razor that lasts a long time, isn't super pricey, but feels luxurious, I would definitely recommend this. I can't use anything else now!

It also moisturises the skin really well as you shave. The blades last a long while also. The handle is very easy and comfortable to hold also. Would recommend to anyone.

You know, the ones you have to replace after every use or risk skinning your legs? I mean, I was young, and carefree, and naive..... sigh But THIS razor: I got free through a schick promotion. The moisture plates mean that you don't even need to use shaving cream as it is inbuilt. The five blades mean that hair is cut really close. The replaceable blades mean that you don't have to pay for a whole new razor every time. This also means less trash when it comes to throwing used heads out: winning!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy hair removal My preferred method of hair removal has always been shaving as it is the most easier and quickest method. Out of all the Schick razors this is by far the best, I really like the way that the shaver is designed to flex to the contours of your body. It is quite flexible which allows the blades to give an extremely close shave while moisturising your legs at the same time. I never cut myself get an bumps from using this razor. The only problem with the design is that the razor head detaches really easily from the handle. But overall my favourite, go to razor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best of the best! The Schick Hydro Silk razor arrived in my Marie Claire,"The Parcel". I thought it was just going to be an average razor but it contours perfectly providing a really close shave. The handle shape is really easy to hold with wet hands and even the plastic guard around the 5 blades are 100% perfectly shaped for a comfortable shave. " Water activated moisturising serum", seriously I think this razor was actually designed for women by women! The only thing that throws me is the blue but thats no big deal. I shave in the shower and I don't shave carefully but I have never cut my self and I will be buying this razor again. I would have to say that it is the perfect design all round and it deserves every award it has been given.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, makes me actually want to shave! I'm not a frequent shaver, I believe it's way too much trouble for the benefit, and I honestly don't care about hairy legs. That being said, this razor makes me want to shave! Firstly, I love the handle shape and size. The way it is crafted and molded is just amazing and fits so perfectly into my hand. It's the main thing I love about this razor! The shaver's head was really quite nice and moisturizing, although I haven't used it more than once and as usual with moisturizing shaver heads I'm sure it will fall apart quickly, and stop with the moisturizing, which is a pity, but the handle is my favorite ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Smooth This razor glides very smoothly over the skin because of the shaving gel built in the razor, which is convenient. The gel doesn't last too long, only 3-4 days max, but it's really best on the first day. If you have sensitive skin, this may be the razor for you because it doesn't "scratch" over the skin, it feels very lubricated. It gives a very close shave, which lasts for two days or more, depending on the rate at which your hair grows.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow- This is amazing. Fast and effective shaving. Wow-- I was really impressed with this product. It shaved my hair so fast and was so effective. Within just one stroke it shaved off the majority of hair in that area without me needing to go over one area multiple times. It definitely saved me time in the morning . I used in the shower and the blades just glided over my body so smoothly. The head also was flexible and contoured really well around my body ie around my knee area . It was so comfortable to hold and it made shaving so easy. As the head glided really smoothly I found that it did not snag at my skin. I am happy that it also didn't cut my skin unlike other cheap razors I use. It is made out of good quality material . My body felt so smooth after I shaved and was happy that it didn't make my skin red and irritated. I'm also happy that it gave me such a close shave. No ingrown hair or no sharp cut hair feeling. When you stroke your hand around where you shaved it just feels so smooth and beautiful. Definitely a repurchase for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in Beauty 2014 - Close, smooth, moisturising shave he first time I used the razor to shave my legs, I found that the 5 shaving blades worked wonderfully to remove every single hair from the area with ease. It provided a close and smooth shave. On the first few uses of the razor on my underarms and bikini area, I found that the razor also responded to the contours of the body really well. The razor features a water-activated moisturising serum that is infused with marine extracts. This serum allowed me to have a very smooth shave and left my skin feeling hydrated. For me, I found that this serum was hydrating enough for me to skip shaving cream on some days. It helped the razor glide across the skin much more easily. I really enjoyed the way that the razor is designed to flex to the contours of the body. The head of the razor is quite flexible so it allows you to get the closest shave possible. I never cut myself, experienced razor burn, or got any nicks from using this razor. I thing this might have been because of the nifty addition of unique skin guards on the razor which help to protect the skin from irritation. In terms of the razor itself, it has an ergonomic handle with a soft rubber grip which makes it easy to hold on to and ensures you won't drop it if you are using it in the shower. Overall this is a great razor for when you are after a close, smooth shave with the bonus of an included moisturizing serum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best In Beauty 2014 Nomination! The schtick hydro silk razor is such a quick and effective hair removal tool that delivers excellent results without any major hassle or pain. The nifty razor has 5 blades and a moisturising strip that activates when comes into contact with water. For this reason I don't store my razor in the shower as the moisturising strip can get wet and run out quicker, and I believe the blades also go blunt faster. The moisturising strip means you only need minimal shaving cream to achieve a super sleek shave. The flexible head of the razor is fantastic as it allows you to shave behind your knees and underarms with ease, preventing awkward angles and possible cuts. I notice that when I use the hydro silk razor that my hair takes longer to grow back in comparison to disposable razors, which happens at a much faster rate. Although this razor is more expensive than regular razors I believe its worth the money as the individual blades can last you a good 3-4 months if you continue to keep them in a dry place and sterilise them. Even when the moisturising strip runs out on the blade they are still super effective at achieving a close shave. I really love this razor and I know I won't be changing anytime soon as I have three whole backup razors, yes three! It definitely receives my vote for the Best In Beauty Awards 2014.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in Beauty 2014 Was initially hesitant to try this razor due to the cost of the refills but boy am I glad I did! The refills might be a bit exxy but considering that they last me about 8-10 shaves before needing to be replaced (standard razors I was lucky to get two goes out of) it works out to be great value. This shaves extremely close and glides very smoothly - haven't had any nicks as yet which is great. I've also found that because this provides such a close shave that the hair takes longer to grow back. A winner all round in my book!
