The opulent decadence of the Eau de Parfum
captures the overtly sensual spirit of the original parfum designed by Yves Saint Laurent Beauté®, only in a lighter spray form. Striking notes of mandarin and bergamot are made mystical with middle notes myrrh and jasmine. A final accord of deep amber laced with Opoponaux imbues the scent with its celebrated rapture. In a chic Chinoiserie-inspired flacon.

Launched in 1977, the designs of the bottles have changed overtime. Back then, body products, such as soap, talcum powders, bath oils and body cremes were sold with the perfumes. Today it seems only perfume remains, unless you happen to be shopping Opium for Xmas, lucky if you can find a gift pack. Though reinvented formula, it still smells as beautiful as it did way back then. This perfume is well appreciated and loved by many more generations to come.......
