General Information

Microshield 2 Chlorhexidine Skin Cleanser is a topical antiseptic solution with amollient and moisturiser.

Ingredients

Chlorhexedine Gluconate 2% (equivalent to Chlorhexedine 11.3g/L) and Tartrazine.

Store below 25 degrees.

Directions

Use Diluted. DO NOT SWALLOW.

FOR ANTIMICROBIAL HANDWASHING:

Deliver 5ml onto wet hands. Wash for 30 seconds. Rinse and dry throughly.

FOR BODY WASHING OR SHOWERING:

Wet body. Deliver sufficent product to work up a lather. Wash as usual. Rinse throughly and dry.

For external use only. Keep out of eyes and ears. Do not mix with detergents or other chemicals.

I absolutely love the smell. Reminiscent of the old 4711 Eau de toilette. Super effective at killing germs. If it’s used in hospitals, it has to be a powerhouse of germ killing goodness! I use this in my motion activated dispenser. Couldn’t recommend this more!

I know hospitals must go through TONNES of this stuff (I've been hospitalized a LOT) and it seems a bit ridiculous to charge the general public this much for small amounts. Especially when the people buying it are likely, like me, disabled and lifelong chronically ill, and already have a plethora of medical & cleaning expenses a mile long. I'm 99.99% sure the markup on the price for retail is a stupidly high profit margin & it would be real nice to give folk like us a break occasionally...might look in to buying bulk elsewhere/through a medical supply or something. It all adds up.
