I used to sell cosmetics years ago in a local pharmacy in my town and this was always my bargain piece! So much volume! No clumping and a reasonable priced compared to all of your big name brands!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I love trying new mascaras and rarely stick to just one. It can be hard to review mascaras because the way it works for people can be vastly different and also people like different things from their mascara. This mascara is very dark and makes your lashes very black, which I personally prefer. A great thing about this mascara is that it does make your lashes look longer but I have found that it didn't really increase the volume as much as I thought it would. This wasn't much of an issue for me, however if someone has thinner more sparse lashes and looks for a voluminous mascara this may not be the best product for that. Personally, I found the wear to be decent and didn't have any issues with fallout, though I have heard others have so it may depend on your lashes as to whether there is any flaking from this mascara. A downside to this product is that it is not a very buildable mascara. After the first layer is applied adding another coat can cause clumping and makes the lashes very heavy therefore reducing the volume. I am happy enough with this mascara though it is not my favourite drugstore product. The price is reasonable and it is one of Maybelline’s better mascaras. If you are looking for a cheaper mascara which is good at lengthening lashes, this may be worth a try. This range also has a waterproof mascara as well which I have not tried yet but may be of interest.

And only recently has the quality dropped, it use to be the best long lasting mascara ever and now by mid day it has half crumbled and flakes onto my face. Very upset as I’ll have to find a new mascara and I have been so loyal for so long!

After a few hours I look like a Panda, no swimming or water involved I am using the Hydrofudge Waterproof one. Reading other reviews about NOT ebing able to take it off has now confused me...

Since the new formula, it's very dry, flakes off about halfway through the day and its clumpy. Absolutely heartbroken. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!!

I got it on my eyelid and usually with a cotton swab and saliva u can just wipe the mascara off this one it didn’t come off I used makeup remover and it still didn’t come off!!! It’s terrible do not buy this mascara. I’m trying to get it off right now and it’s not coming off I’m scrubbing!!!!
