General Information

DermaVeen Sensitive Relief Eczema Lotion soothes irritation, relieves itch and give protective barrier for skin.

DermaVeen® Sensitive Relief Eczema Lotion is a soothing moisturiser specifically formulated for the symptomatic relief of mild eczema flare ups. Formulated with 100% natural finely milled oat from the Avena Sativa plant - known as Colloidal Oatmeal, scientifically proven to offer symptomatic relief in 3 ways:

1. A glove-like protective shield forms over the skin to lock in moisture.

2. Helps relieve itch and irritation.

3. Moisture binding Colloidal Oatmeal rehydrates skin.

Free from fragrances, parabens, Lanolin, artificial colours & dyes, alcohol (ethanol). Not tested on animals.

Suitable For: Vegan friendly. Suitable for all skin types including dry, flaky, itchy, cracked skin and skin prone to dermatitis or eczema. For infants, children and adults and for all-over body and face use.

Before going to steroid creams I wanted to see if this would relieve it. The product is thick and luscious which is exactly what I needed. It provided almost instant relief from the dry skin burn. I apply it every morning, and yes i can wear makeup over it. I also wear it each evening and this is staying under control.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overnight repair I bought this as a hand cream. In winter I get dry cuticles and develop painful little nicks arount the nail beds. It's painful to wet/wash hands or pick things up. This non-fragranced eczema cream is thick enough to do the moisturising and repair overnight. It's not greasy, doesn't leave residue and soaks right in. I haven't had a cuticle problem since using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eczema relief I tend to get out breaks of eczema on my legs when stressed or when my legs are really dry. I love hot hot showers in the winter and this tends to dry out my skin, particularly on my legs. It then gets very red, sensitive and irritated. I also have little spots about the size of five scent coins that are eczema and are really itchy. I used this moisturiser on my legs after a shower. I apply an amount about the size of a ten cent coin and I don't rub it all the way in but leave it so it has a white film still visible. I then put on pajama pants. It has made such a difference with my skin. My legs are hydrated and not dry and the itchiness and irritation has disappeared. I really like this cream and will continue to use it. The texture of the cream is slightly oaty and gel like. There is also a very mild oat smell to the cream but it is subtle and does not hang around for long.

I suffer with the symptoms of Eczema I have sensitive skin as well and find the lotion works great for anyone who is concerned on irritation this stops the itch and I use this everyday, the lotion isn't too thick its a nice consistency and its non-greasy. You'll be safe to know no fragrances or alcohol or additives that effect eczema are added in this cream.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super soothing This lotion is fantastic and feels incredibly soothing on the skin. It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave a horrible greasy feeling. It doesn't really have a scent to it, which I like, as fragrances tend to exacerbate my eczema. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that it is far too small. I would love for it to be in a one-liter pump container, just because with twice daily use, I tend to go through it quite quickly. Apart from that rather insignificant negative point, this is a fantastic daily body moisturiser for eczema prone skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely product, soothing, nourishing and calming for face and body I bought this for my daughter who has had eczema which flares up occasionally. Lately it has been occuring on her face and it is dry, sore, inflamed, and to make it worse, pimples! Her doctor suggested this range of products for her as they are free of nasties and contain oatmeal which is known to soothe the skin. It comes in a 250ml plastic bottle with a flip top lid. The lotion inside is reasonably thick and quite wet. It is an off-white colour and has no detectable scent. It applies really easily to the skin and absorbs quickly. It leaves no greasy residue and feels light and comfortable. She is using it on her face and loving it (bottle says suitable for use on face and body). No issues with putting makeup over it. A really lovely lotion for anyone with skin problems, I even used it on mine and I have no problems but if felt lovely on the skin and really soothes, calms and nourishes but is very light and doesn't block pores.

Use it for my daughter who has mild eczema, and we all end up using it during winter as it really soaks into skin and nourishes it well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective lotion This is the moisturiser we recently bought for the family as it's a one litre sized bottle which is lots of product for everyone. I don't mind it, the smell is alright though not a scent I prefer (I'm a sucker for floral or food-related scents and this oat-scent wasn't quite to my liking). However, it is a very effective moisturiser and my son doesn't have any issues with it and he has very sensitive skin so that was one aspect of this product I was very happy with! Finally, eczema is something that runs in the family (to a mild extent) so the effectiveness of this product was lovely too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its okay I bought it based on the reviews here.. sure it helps with the dryness just abit. its very thin and when i first went to use the product alot of liquid came out that wasnt the cream so i guess it means you must shake it constantly and its quite hard. It's okay though but maybe for people with very dry and very mild eczema.
