DermaVeen Extra Hydration Shower & Bath Oil for Extra Dry, Itchy & Sensitive Skin is dermatologically tested. It soothes irritation, locks in moisture and is paraben-free.

DermaVeen® is not only free from common irritants, it is formulated with 100% natural finely milled oat from the Avena Sativa plant - known as Colloidal Oatmeal. Offering a host of dermatological benefits, Colloidal Oatmeal is scientifically proven to help:

- Hydrate.

- Fight dryness.

- Restore the protective barrier.

- Soothe skin prone to itch & irritation.

DermaVeen® Extra Hydration Shower & Bath Oil is a rich, luxurious oil that thoroughly cleanses while deeply replenishing the skin to restore resilience and smoothness.

Warnings

For external use only. If product gets into eyes, rinse immediately with clean water. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Patch test on sensitive skin first. The use of this product may make the bathroom surface slippery.

Ingredients

Paraffinum Liquidum, Glyceryl Stearate, Avena Sativa (Colloidal Oatmeal) Kernel Flour, Laureth-4, PEG-100 Stearate, Aqua, Sodium PCA, Benzaldehyde, Silica, Benzyl Alcohol.

Directions

Shake well before use. Apply liberally and directly to skin while showering or add approximately 20 mL to bath and stir through. After bathing or showering, pat dry and apply your preferred DermaVeen Body Moisturiser for protective and deep moisturisation.

I would say not to overuse around the eyes and eye duct areas.

Dermaveen Shower & Bath Oil does the trick, leaving an oily coating over my skin. Over the year that I've been using it, my skin has improved a lot (I also use evening primrose oil tablets) -- I no longer have 'crocodile skin' on my lower legs, despite the fact that I swim twice a week. I read one review warning that it can make your shower floor slippery, and so I just make sure that I am extra careful -- I haven't had any problems to date. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cleans and leaves skin feeling moisturised I use this daily for my two kids who have eczema. It leaves their skin clean, soft and without feeling greasy. I do find that there needs to be a generous amount used, and for best results leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing. Once in a while I use a generous amount (about 50 pumps) for them to soak in the bath. I have tried other bath oils but found them to be greasy and the kids hated the feeling on their skin. The Dermaveen bath oil is moisturising without the sticky, greasy feeling. Remember to shake the bottle vigorously before each use as the oil/oat milk does separate. And do not apply to hair (unless you like the slick gelled look).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best soap and body wash alternative! A very gentle and moisturizing oil which is perfect as an alternative to body wash/soap. Leaves a slight moisturising barrier on skin to keep it hydrated and soft (can even skip applying body moisturiser after shower). It does not lather because it is an oil, but it cleanses just fine. It has a strong almond scent (like Almond Fingers or Marzipan) which some people may not appreciate, however after shower there is no scent left on skin. You need to shake the bottle before each use to mix ingredients well as they do separate. I absolutely love this oil and have used it exclusively for a long time as it works like nothing else. I have also tried QV shower oil (which is completely unscented) but it does not leave skin any where near as moisturised as the Dermaveen. Excellent product.
