General Information

SuperFade Face Treatment Cream is a medicated, pharmacy strength skin treatment to help fade pigmentation, such as brown skin blemishes including freckles and age spots on the Face. It contains a powerful active ingredient Hydroquinone (2%), for fighting pigmentation at the source. You should see effective results in 6 weeks.

Brown skin blemishes, freckles and melasma occur when excessive pigmentation has resulted from the influence of sun exposure, hormonal variation, or skin type.

Hydroquinone is the gold standard in pigmentation fading and works by disabling the damaged melanocyte deep in the skin that produces excess melanin which then forms the brown pigment on the surface of the skin.

SuperFade Face Treatment Cream should be applied to the affected area only as it is specifically formulated for fighting unwanted pigmentation at the source. Results should begin to appear in just 6 weeks of regular and consistent use.

KEY FEATURES

• Hydroquinone is the gold standard in pigmentation fading. SuperFade Treatment Cream for hands and body and SuperFade Face Treatment Cream are the only non-prescription pharmacy medicines in Australia which contain the powerful active ingredient Hydroquinone.
• Salicylic Acid: Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) gently exfoliates. 4 way action: keratolytic, antiinflammatory, anti-microbial and improves skin function.

Warnings

Do not:
• Use on children
• Use near the eyes
• Exceed recommended dose. Excessive or prolonged use should be avoided because darkening of the skin can occur
• Dark skinned people should avoid long term and repeated use to lighten overall colour

Whilst using this product:
• Mild irritation may occur (mild stinging of treated skin; or - mild itching, dryness, redness, or other irritation). Stop use if it becomes severe
• Avoid exposure to the sun
• Use SPF 30+ sunscreen on any exposed areas

Do not use this product and see your doctor immediately if:
• If a pigmented spot or mole has recently become darker, changed colour, become enlarged or itchy, or bleeds

Ask a doctor if:
• Fading is not evident in three months

This product contains:
• Chlorocresol 0.1% w/w as a preservative
• Sulphites

CAUTION

PRECAUTIONS

If a pigmented spot or mole has recently become darker, changed colour, become enlarged or itchy, or bleeds do not use this product, see your doctor immediately. Do not use on children. Do not use near the eyes.

Mild irritation may occur; stop use if it becomes severe. If fading is not evident in three months, seek doctor's advice. Do not exceed recommended dose. Excessive or prolonged use should be avoided because darkening of the skin can occur. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of the reach of children. Always read the label. Follow the directions for use.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This product may darken on exposure to air, but this does not affect its efficacy.

Directions

Apply Sparingly into areas to be treated only, twice daily and at bedtime. After desired fading is obtained use only as necessary to maintain results.
Before commencing treatment, test for allergic reaction over 24 hours with small patch of cream on inside of upper arm.

MORNING
1. Cleanse your face with Superfade Prep Start Pre-Treatment Cleanser
2. Apply SuperFade Accelerator Serum all over your face, neck and décolletage (optional)
3. Dab SuperFade Face Treatment Cream sparingly into the affected area only
4. Apply Superfade De Pigment Eye Gel-Cream (if you have pigmentation in the eye contour)
5. Then apply your Superfade De Pigment Moisturiser
6. Avoid exposure to the sun. Use Superfade Super Screen SPF50+ on any exposed areas.
7. Then apply your makeup

NIGHT:
1. Cleanse your face with Superfade Prep Start Pre-Treatment Cleanser
2. Apply SuperFade Accelerator Serum all over your face, neck and décolletage (optional)
3. Dab SuperFade Face Treatment Cream sparingly into the affected area only
4. Apply Superfade De Pigment Eye Gel-Cream (if you have pigmentation in the eye contour)
5. Then apply your Superfade De Pigment Moisturiser

Tip as suggested by dermatologists: if you have sensitive skin then start treatment at night only, using every second night for a week, then proceed to use every night for a week and then begin to use morning and night and as directed.

Now it has been a week and you can barely notice any pigmentation at all. Magic! So grateful that I bought this instead of spending $$$ on laser treatment.

I had finally had enough of feeling very self conscious about an area of pigmentation/age spot on the side of my face. 2 years previous I had the same area lasered and unfortunately it came back bigger and darker pigmentation than before. I visited CW and asked advice from the Pharmacist who was very happy to suggest this Superfade Cream. I followed the directions carefully using twice a day and before bedtime and very sparingly to the area only ....... 4 weeks on and I am absolutely thrilled with the results!! Years of sun damage, surfing most days throughout summer, left the skin on my face and chest covered in brown spots. With two very dark patches developing on my cheek. After a friend mentioned Lazer to get rid of these spots, which I thought would be expensive and no appointments available due to Covid. I did some research and found this. Just awesome, the two really dark spots are now cream in colour and the others are so faded they are hardly noticeable. My skin looks fresh and smooth. Highly recommend this product. Can not wait to see the final results. No make needed anymore.

I have medium colour freakles on my nose and cheeks and you can barley see them anymore I am so amazed by the results and how quickly it has worked. Highly recommend this product

Results are clear I had pigmentation and freckles that were darkening as I get older. All have faded a great deal in the twice weeks and I’m excited to see what results I see in the next month. Absolutely think the accelerator serum is worth getting to use with it as I have used it about years ago and I don’t remember having as significant results. Stoked :)
