General Information

Scholl Corn Removal Plasters Washproof medicated disc system for effective corn removal and immediate cushioning relief.

Scholl Corn Removal Plasters Washproof are especially developed for use on hard corns. Contains fast acting medicated discs which ensure that only the specific problem area is treated, without affecting the surrounding skin.


- The super soft water resistant plasters provide cushioning and protection.


- The special adhesive strap facilitates firm fixing.

Directions

Feet should be clean and dry. Remove disc and plaster from backing paper. Place adhesive surface of medicated disc firmly over centre of corn and cover with plaster. Press down firmly and secure with adhesive straps. Repeat treatment daily until corn is completely removed.

USAGE ADVICE

Not suitable for use if the corn is bleeding
Do not apply to normal skin.Do not use for more than 2 weeks except on medical advice
Do not use on children under 16 years
If other side effects occur, contact your doctor or pharmacist
If an allergic reaction occurs, stop use.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Store in original container protected
from direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area, away from incompatible
materials and food and drink. Keep container tightly closed and
sealed until ready for use. Containers that have been opened must be carefully
resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not store in unlabeled containers.
Use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination.

Can I suggest that you make a mark or different colour on the little pads as I found it hard to tell the difference between the adhesive surface and the top. Once I had removed the little pad from the protective paper, it was very hard to tell the difference.

Both sides feel sticky so which side is the active adhesive side with salicylic acid? Why can't the instructions provide this essential information? TGA should recall the product due to unacceptable labelling.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Safety issue due to unclear label You might think it's obvious which side of the medicated disc is active (ie, contains salicylic acid) but Scholl's web site shows that the dark brown side must be applied to the corn whereas it's possible (if the photo on the front of the pack is meant to be instructive) the light side is the active side. Please see the attached photos. Although the photos are from Scholl's UK site, it's very likely customers in Australia will access this site since it's not easy to find any other relevant instructions online. This product should be recalled due to unclear labelling. Also, since someone could inadvertently touch the active side believing it to be inactive and then touch their eye, this is a serious safety issue.
