General Information

Ferro-F-Tab is a source of iron and folic acid for the prevention and treatment of iron and folic acid deficiency anaemia, including in pregnancy.

Ferrous fumarate 310mg
(equivalent to elemental iron 100 mg)
Folic Acid 350 micrograms

Indications
Source of iron and folic acid for the prevention and treatment of iron and folic acid deficiency anaemias, including in pregnancy.

Size: 60 Film Coated Tablets

Warnings

This product should not be taken for more than 12 months except on medical advice.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Each tablet contains ferrous fumarate 310 mg (equivalent to elemental iron 100 mg) and folic acid 350 micrograms.

Directions

Directions for use:
Adult dose: Prevention: One tablet daily.
Treatment: One to two tablets daily.

It has higher iron content compared to other pre natal tablets and you pay a quarter for the price for this one. The folic acid is below 100 of the requirement but i guess that's fine. This was recommended by my gp as we are planning to have a baby soon.
