General Information

Biore Pack Ultra 6


The only thing worse than your typical blackhead is a stubborn one. Bioré® Ultra deep cleansing pore strips offer maximum pore cleansing power to combat difficult pore-clogging dirt and oil around the nose area. Formulated with tea tree oil, menthol and witch hazel to cool the skin so you feel it working. Custom fit to reach dirt and oil in those hard to reach areas. Helps reduce the appearance of pores with regular use. For best results, do not use more often than once every three days. Dermatologically tested, hypo-allergenic.

Ingredients

Polyquaternium-37, Silica, Aqua, Glycerin, Polysilicone-13, Peg-12 Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Butylene Glycol, Methylparaben, Melaleuca Alternifolia, Menthol, Hamamelis Virginiana.

Directions

Remove strip from pouch. Twist strip to loosen and separate slits prior to use. After cleansing your face, thoroughly wet nose. The strip won’t stick if skin is dry. Dry hands. Peel strip off plastic liner. Apply to skin, smooth sides down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin. Let dry for about 10-15 minutes until stiff to the touch – like papier-mâché. Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward centre. See the results on the back of the strip!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Removes build-up from pores I've been using the Bioré Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips once a week for about 5 weeks now and whilst I have noticed my pores becoming tighter or less noticeable just yet I do think they do a fantastic job of removing dirt, oil and black heads from my blocked pores. I like to cleanse my face with warm water first to open up my pores and I leave my nose wet and apply extra water to my nose so that it's almost dripping wet to apply the pore strip otherwise they don't stick and work. You'll know when it's ready to slowly peel off because the strip becomes quite tight. This will take about 10 minutes to happen. I love holding the strip up to the light once I've peeled it off to see all the gunk it's removed from my pores. It's so satisfying. I love these strips.

They are economical and so simple to use, just presss across the nose area, leave and pull off to remove inground dirt, oil and grime that often proves stubborn to remove. If I use these regularly my pores are much less visible, breakouts much less and my skin looks clearer and fresher. I can often have a problem with large pores and these strips are amazing. They contain witch hazel to soothe skin and tea tree oil which helps to combat oil and clear up skin, it’s a natural antiseptic which keeps skin clean and clear. Biore make great skincare products and I love these strips, they don’t irritate and are so handy. Great product

I suffer from enlarged pores on the nose and trying to clean them out properly is always a large process, but since using these strips they have helped 100%

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets rid of everything! The Biore ultra deep pore strips are seriously the best for removing blackheads around your nose and I find it so satisfying to use. I know it can be a bit gross when you look at it but it's so gratifying knowing you got rid of all of those stubborn, hard to remove blackheads. The strips are easy to use, you just place the strip over your nose and then wait for around 10 minutes until the strip has gotten hard and is practically suctioned onto your nose. I found that removing it can be quite painful because the strip is almost glued to your nose. I remove it very slowly so it won't hurt too much and once I take it off I can see how much it removed and it's unbelievable! All the gunk from my nose ends up on the strip and my nose looks amazing! It never looked so clean and it feels so incredibly soft and smooth. I would use this once every couple of weeks or more often if I felt like my nose was looking congested.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tea-Tree Oil & Witch Hazel In Them This pack of blackhead remover strips have just the nose strips in them - there are six strips These are the 'Ultra Deep' strips as opposed to the Deep Cleansing Pore strips and these Ultra Deep strips also have witchhazel and tea tree oil included in the strip. I know that Tea Tree Oil is anti-bacterial so these are very appealing for hygiene reasons. They are slightly different shape & size to the original Deep Cleansing Pore strips too but not by too much. These strips help a lot to remove instantly the blackheads of the pimples species! These are very effective and I can recommend them if you want to/need to get rid of blackheads fast.

I love them and I didn't actually think anything could have worked any better. Then I saw this "ultra" version in Priceline and decided to pick it up and have a go. These cleanse even better (how can it be possible?!) as I saw more of the tiny little white and blackheads (which I didn't even notice) were pulled out. I also enjoyed the cooling effect and the scent of tea tree I follow the following steps for maximum result:<br />1. Take a warm (or hot) shower.<br />2. Use a gentle scrub on my nose.<br />3. Use a cream exfoliant so the dead skin cells covering the pores are "dissolved".<br />4. Wet my nose with warm water, but allow excess water to drip.<br />5. Stick on the pore strip. It should feel just slightly moist.<br />6. Peel off after 10 to 15 minutes (or when it is dried but still flexible) Because they are so effective I only use one every 2 to 3 weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stock up when on special Firstly, I want to say I think these are great, I love them, think they are great for everyone and if I could afford it - I'd have a draw full of them in my bathroom!<br />Ok so I have been using biore pore strips over several years but feel I've only just this year I have FINALLY mastered the correct way to use them!<br />Too much water- they go soggy and don't work, not enough water the tend to bubble and miss areas of your nose.<br />Realllllllly frustrating, especially when you don't get many in the box and if your like me I end up sticking half the packet on my face (nose, chin, forehead)<br />Yes, I know they sell these in the combo packs, I use them also, it's just a case of whatever I have at home... I stick it on :-)<br />So my advice is, to make sure that you do the following (you want it to reallllllly stick to your face), wash your face with a good cleanser first, so that you don't have any makeup or oils on your skin preventing that good grab.<br />Put a facewasher in hot water (however hot your comfortable with) squeeze the water out, then hold it on your nose (or whatever area you are applying it to)for a minute or so.... give your pores a good chance to open.<br />Then re-wet the facewasher in the warm water, squeeze it out, dab all over the area you are apply the strip to. Try and have a towel nearby to dry your fingers on quickly so that when you pick up the strip you don't wet it and make it soggy. Also, have the strip already unpackaged and ready to pick up and stick on so that your nose isn't drying while your opening it.<br />(Don't forget to rip the little sections on the strip that help it curve and fit better to your nose)<br />So go ahead and smooth it onto your nose, keep smoothing it on into the gaps so make sure you don't get any bubbling. Once your happy you have a good fit, sit back relax and enjoy it tightening up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised. These pore strips are one of the best that I have used. I have a lot of blackheads on my nose and surrounding. I noticed a great improvement straight away when I first tried it. The strips are a perfect size, I follow the package instructions and leave for 10 minutes or until the strip becomes stiff. I then carefully pull off, it does hurt sometimes, but you can dab a bit of water on it, if it hurts too much. Its a bit icky looking at the used strip, but I am always amazed at what and how much stuff comes out. Sometimes there is a bit of strip residue left behind, so I always make sure i moisturise. I always stock up when it is on special, as it can be a bit expensive. I am also keen to try out the smaller strips from Biore on my t-zone...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Biore pore strips I have been using Biore strips on and off for years, both this one and the original deep cleansing one. I have tried the charcoal one as well and I like them all but the Ultra deep cleansing ones are the ones that work best for me.<br />I have found that the best way to use these is to apply a charcoal face mask first. This helps to draw out all the impurities and get deep into the pores. Dermalogica's charcoal rescue mask or Swisse's detoxifying charcoal mask with manuka honey work wonders. After removing the charcoal mask with warm water and a facial cloth apply the pore strip to damp skin (make sure you dry your hands first) onto your nose and pat it down firmly. When using this method you will really notice the difference, you will feel it penetrating much deeper into the pores and removes a lot more gunk!<br />Using them by themselves still works pretty good, however. You can really feel the witch hazel, tea tree and menthol "sucking up" all the blackheads.<br />Removing it can be a little painful, especially if you have any tiny hairs on your nose, as these strips really do cling to everything. A little tip, if you do have any tiny little facial hairs on your nose, remove them first before applying this strip, or most of what will be on the strip will be hairs, remove them first so the strip can penetrate through and cling to the blackheads.<br />These strips certainly do work and theres something so grossly satisfying about using them haha. I wouldn't say they reduce the size of your pores when using them continuously, but they do do a good job of helping keep them clean!<br />I wouldn't use any more than twice a week as it can leave your nose feeling a little sensitive.<br />I have actually gotten my partner hooked onto these as well hehe :)<br />Definitely recommend if you are prone to blackheads, and you should definitely try out my method, using charcoal first really does help draw out all the nasties and using these strips immediately after its like a double whammy :)<br />Will be continuing to re purchase these for a long time! They are effective, cheap, easy to use.

While I found that the original strips did nothing for me, these ultra strips are absolutely incredible. Pros - Satisfying to peel off!!! Remove the majority of blackheads Don't dry out skin Cons - Expensive for price per strip Take a long time to dry Shape doesn't cover as much as I'd hoped Doesn't come in face strips Doesn't get every blackhead While there seem to be many cons, they still are far outweighed by the pros. I'm looking forward to trying other types of strips by Biore.

I dampen my nose with a warm cloth before peeling the strip away from the plastic sheet, and place on my nose, making sure that it properly fits into the sides of my nose, as that is where I often get blackheads that are hard to remove. After ten minutes the strip hardens, and I peel it off, pulling towards the centre. It tugs on my skin a lot, but it isn't painful, and is easy to peel. It removes a lot of my blackheads and dry skin, however with some blackheads it just brings them to the surface, where they are easily removed by just squeezing gently...gross, I know! I love how they do not leave any residue on my nose, or cause my nose to break out, like many other products do due to my sensitive skin. My skin is super soft after I use them, and blackheads and clogged pores are definitely reduced. They have a pleasant clean smell, like many other Biore products, and are surprisingly gentle on the skin, considering the deep cleaning effect they have. I love them.
