General Information

Dermaid Soft 0.5% Eczema Cream 30G

Size: 30g

KEY FEATURES

• • Suitable for sensitive skin.
• • Contains added emollients help hydrate and soothe dry skin.
• • Free of lanolin, paraben, fragrances and chlorocresol to reduce the chance of sensitivity reactions.

Warnings

For external use only. Do not use in the eyes. Do not use on children under 2 years old unless recommended by a doctor. Do not use for acne. Do not use under waterproof bandages or for more than 7 days unless recommended by a doctor. If symptoms persist seek medical advice. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. If symptoms persist seek medical advice.
Keep out of reach of children.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Hydrocortisone 0.5% w/w

Directions

Apply a small amount to affected skin 2-4 times daily. Cleanse with a soap alternative such as soap may irritate the skin.

When I first get terrible rashes on my face, I use this four times a day for the first few days, then go down to twice a day for the following few days. It really relieves the pain and reduces the rash significantly. It normally clears it up within a week. I also use it behind the ears when that gets a bit funny, and it takes probably only 2 days to clear that up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does Work I bought this 3 days ago because I suddenly got really bad eczema on my neck and it was spreading. I was really red and inflammed. Used this for two days and I already see it die down. But note this is a steroid cream so definitely follow the instructions and do not use it more than 4 time a day. I also noticed my skin got really dry and started to peel after using it. After doing research, I realised i could use a moisturiser afterwards so have been putting this cream on and then 15 minutes later putting on a thick moisturiser like QV cream on it. This has been working for me so hopefully works for others too!

I hated summer. But I started using this cream from last 6 months. It started to heal and I am wearing hair up now. I just have a barely there small area now. This cream is just awesome.

They have stronger, prescribed cream from the GP but I thought it might be good to be able to use a milder one on them day to day and save the strong one for bad flare-ups. I have found this cream excellent at soothing the small itches and it even smells nice! Bought more to keep on hand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dermaid - Relieves dry skin due to irritation I have been using Dermaid cream on and off for about 8 months. The cream helps relieve dryness and itchiness when my skin is really bad. I have a problem area on the outside of my right elbow, Dermaid helps keep it under control. I have a tendency to itch due to renal failure. Phosphate builds up in my blood as my kidneys are not able to get rid of it. For some reason the outside of my right elbow seems to be over sensitive to the build up of phosphates. The skin on my elbow has been damaged from scratching. Dermaid seems to bring calm to the area and also helped to repair the skin to some degree. I recommend trying this product, it is reasonably priced and 30 grams seems to last quite some time. Dermaid only needs to be 'smeared and rubbed' on. Be careful not to brush against any delicate surfaces or clothes with the cream on as it will rub off. Tip: When possible use some glad wrap and lightly wrap the area that has cream applied.
