Nicabate Clear Patch Nicotine 114mg (21mg/24hr) - for the treatment of nicotine dependence as an aid to smoking cessation and for those who smoke more than 10 a day.

Nicabate Patch contain nicotine to relieve cravings. Craving control that allows you to quit smoking, at a pace that suits you, to help you stay calm, be prepared and in control of your quit journey.

Nicabate Patch release therapeutic nicotine continously across 24hrs with Smart Control Technology to help you quit smoking. Nicabate Clear Patch is part of a programme designed to support your wish to stop smoking. The programme contains 3 steps which you will need to follow, starting with step 1, then step 2, then step 3. Each step has its own strength of Nicabate Clear Patch; the patches are designed to supply your body with the correct amount of nicotine, which decreases as you go from step 1 to step 3.

Start with step 1 (21 mg/24 hr patch) if you smoke 10 or more cigarettes per day, and use the different strength patches according to the following 10 week schedule.

Step 1 (21 mg/24 hr patch)
6 weeks once daily

Step 2 (14 mg/24 hr patch)
2 weeks once daily

Step 3 (7 mg/24 hr patch)
2-4 weeks once daily

I used the 21mg patch for 7-weeks & avoided habits associated with smoking like coffee, alcohol, etc. I halved the left-over patches (10.5mg), continuing the program. By the 10th week of use, I’ve noticed that everything is just psychological (I was supposed to put one on me but, forgot & I met with friends in a BBQ; 3 of which were smokers & as I got whiffed of the smokes I just rubbed on the area where I placed the patch. When I got home, found the patch on the bed & I didn’t have one at all. As I’m a living proof & a Nicabate user, those 3-mates have also quit the habit and our future looks promising indeed!

They certainly work well, by slowing down the cravings, these 2 weeks supply is equivalent to 1 packet of cigarettes these days anyway. I am finding though that as the weather heats up, on the 35-40degree plus days, that I'm having to use surgical tape to help them stick. Also, if you have to take it off to shower they lose some effectiveness after, the tape helps with that too though as long as you're careful.
