General Information

A dual-purpose cleanser and toner in one for normal/oily skin types. Elizabeth Arden's 2-in-1 Cleanser will tone, refresh and help minimise the appearance of pores without leaving skin feeling dry.

Ingredients

WATER/AQUA/EAU, SODIUM COCOYL ISETHIONATE, GLYCERIN, PEG-120 METHYL GLUCOSE DIOLEATE, MYRISTIC ACID, SODIUM MYRISTOYL SARCOSINATE, DISODIUM EDTA, HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA (WITCH HAZEL) WATER, HYDROXYPROPYL METHYLCELLULOSE, MICA, PARFUM/FRAGRANCE, POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS (ROSEMARY) LEAF EXTRACT, SALVIA OFFICINALIS (SAGE) LEAF EXTRACT, TRIHYDROXYSTEARIN, ETHYLPARABEN, METHYLPARABEN, PHENOXYETHANOL, PROPYLPARABEN, TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891).

Directions

Gently massage onto wet face and work into a lather. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. No need for a toner.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gentle Foaming Cleanser This is a nice creamy foaming cleanser that provides a nice gentle, cushiony cleanse. It does contain some soap constituents though, in the form of Myristic and Potassium Hydroxide, so not entirely a soap-free cleanser. Can be slightly drying, would recommend it for normal to oily skin. For dry skin it could be an issue. Remove makeup well. Only pet peeve is the Peppermint extract. Sorry but peppermint really only has a place in body and oral care. Everything smells like toothpaste no matter the quality of the peppermint extract. Would have been better if it were fragrance free. The addition of Rosemary however is a nice touch.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average Cleanser for Normal/Comb/Oily Skin Though it states as a cleanser for ALL Skin Types I would say it is really only for those with a Normal to Combination/Oily skin due to the surfactant system.Though this does provide a luxurious lather on wet palms, all in all it is a rather average cleanser, not really department store worthy and one would expect better from Elizabeth Arden. The formula is decent enough but a little outdated and needs some oomph. The menthol/peppermint fragrance is a bit much and could do without it. The cleanser is clean rinsing and is capable of removing light to moderate makeup and sunscreen. Rinse off with water only, it doesn't need to be wiped off. Non-drying. For those with a sensitive skin, I would advise caution due to the amount of fragrance. Nice that it is a Cleanser and Toner in One but toning doesn't do much for the skin anyway.
