General Information

Ultra-nourishing, anti-irritation cleansing oil that provides 24 hours of comfort and hydration immediately after showering.

24HR HYDRATION* 26% INCREASE IN SKIN HYDRATION AFTER 27 DAYS* 80% SAID THEIR SKIN IMMEDIATELY FELT SOFT & COMFORTABLE**
*Corneometry for 27 days on 52 volunteers aged 20 to 70 years with dry skin. **Use test for one week on 21 volunteers aged 18 to 70 with dry to very dry skin on the face and body, and sensitive and/or reactive skin on the face and body.

Atoderm Shower Oil soothes and protects against external stress thanks to its exclusive formula made up of plant biolipids, niacinamide and the Skin Barrier Therapy™ patent.
• Plant biolipds* relieve the sensation of tightness, reduce irritations and strengthen the skin thanks to the intake of nourishing molecules which immediately recreate the skin's protective film.
• The Skin Barrier Therapy™ patent limits the adhesion of certain bacteria (staphylococcus aureus) on the skin's surface which can aggravate skin dryness.
• By stimulating the synthesis of lipids, niacinamide helps restructure the skin barrier, which improves the skin's suppleness and durably restores comfort.
• Lipid restoring agents, made up of plant biolipids and moisturising agents make up 33% of the formula and reinforce the moisturising and nourishing properties of this shower oil.

The DAF™ patented complex increases the skin's tolerance threshold.

Directions

For the shower or the bath, apply to wet skin and massage into the skin to create a light lather. Rinse thoroughly. Gently pat dry. For even more effectiveness, supplement with an Atoderm treatment cream.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nourishes dry skin The last summer has left my skin really dry and irritated and I have to make sure that the products I use on my body are nourishing and not drying. It did not irritate my sensitive skin or cause an allergic reaction. It was fun to use and see how the oil emulsified when mixed with water and did not leave any residue on the skin afterwards. It left my skin clean and hydrated after each use and therefore I would recommend it to everyone who has sensitive skin. It is good for the whole family too because it has no scent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprising How Well It Cleans An amazing nutty sweet scent that is high quality and not overpowering but simply perfect in my view, is what this delicate and gentle cleansing formula has. It's an oily cleanser that lathers up between damp palms and then can be used all over the face, neck and entire body too. In fact, when I first used this I thought it was for the body because it comes in a large container but later I found out that it is primarily meant to be for facial cleansing! It didn't matter because my body got a luxurious cleansing treat anyhow and my skin felt soothed and cleansed. So this is great for delicate skin and sensitive skin too. I have oily skin on my face in general being an oily combination skin type. This cleanser suits that skin type too. So I dare say this would suit any skin type. I highly recommend this even though I never thought I would have ever seen myself recommending an oily based cleanser! This really opened up my eyes as to how oily cleansing can work so well and nourishingly for the skin all while giving it a thorough clean. I found this gentle cleanser to be excellent after a beauty treatment too.

I have been looking for the ultimate hydrating shower oil that’s not going to irritate my skin or cause a flare up from my dermatitis and extremely dry skin. This product is amazing and works so well, I’m happy to finally find an oil that I can use in the shower. I love that it’s soap, paraben, sulphate & preservative free! Finally something that has 24 hour hydration.
