Trialed for the BeautyHeaven Natrual Beauty Month Box The Glow Lab Age Renew Retinol Booster Oil comes as a glass 20ml bottle with a dropper . It does not actually have retinol in it , its a retinol alternative called Bakuciol. Which i haven't herd of so i had to look it up. .. Google says ..Studies have shown that Bakuchiol helps prevent fine lines and wrinkles, and helps with pigmentation, elasticity, and firmness.” “It works through the same receptors that retinol uses, which is why many refer to it as a natural retinol alternative. I applied the serum on its own . It also that says you can also mix it with your regular moisturiser. I squeezed the dropper to suck up the oil into the vial, and apply a few drops directly onto my forehead cheeks and decolletage. Then gently in circular motions, work the product into my skin. I would usually apply a moisturiser after a serum but i wanted to see how this worked without it over night Smell .... it has a slight fresh scent to it , but its not too overpowering. after the application, my face felt a little greasy for about half an hour but not too much . My pores still felt like they could breathe . i went to bed and woke up with really soft supple feeling skin . as for wrinkles yeah maybe they look softer ? but i use a lot of other wrinkle products so it was a bit hard to tell if thats helping too .. but hey the more the merrier i say . LOL

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lovely alternative to retinol I was using retinol for a while before I did a little research, and found retinol to be quite harsh for the skin and it causes some skin to become sensitive to the sun more then usual. Bakuchiol is a natural alternative to retinol, being less harsh to the sensitive skin and not making skin burn as easily. I found Bakuchiol to have a similar effect to retinol just gentler. It didn't irritate my skin and I love that it was mixed with other lovely oils like rose hip which is amazing for the skin. Glow lab is one of my favourite natural brands, made in New Zealand, this serum was made with love, you can feel it when it soaks into the skin. Embracing it in a cocoon of luxurious moisture. The bottle it comes with is nice to, I keep mine in the fridge. I use it before moisturising morning and night

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely and nourishing Thank you to BH for allowing me to take part in the Natural Beauty Month Box trial. I was happy to see another worthy Glow Lab product in this years box. I was introduced to this brand via last years box. I quite like the colours in the Glow Lab packaging. They come across as a serious, mid-high range brand. The magical ingredient in this facial oil is an ingredient called Bakuchiol, which has been clinically proven ti mimin retinol, which decreases skins appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and pigmentation...three areas of concern for me. For application, I have found it very convenient to use the lid with dropper, which allowed for easy product dispensing. I need to use around 4 drops if applying a stand alone step in my skincare, or 2-3 drops if combining with my moisturiser - as one-step. I have super dry, maturing skin and can get away with the oil and moisturiser combo in the day time and then using the oil plus moisturiser alone at night time for a more hydrating routine. I'm happy to say that this lovely oil will become a part of my skincare regime. I haven't noticed any major changes as yet but my skin does feel lovely, soft, plump, and hydrated.
