General Information

Vicks® First Defence is a medical device that is clinically proven to help you in the fight against common cold viruses.

How Vicks® First Defence works:
1.TRAP: The micro-gel formula physically encapsulates (traps) the cold virus in the nose and helps to prevent it from developing and spreading.

2.INACTIVATE: The cold viruses are trapped in the micro-gel and inactivated,
reducing their ability to multiply and spread

3.REMOVE: Then, it flushes the nose to help naturally remove the inactivated virus (toward the stomach or by blowing one’s nose).

Suitable For: Use only as directed. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to ingredients. Not suitable for children under 12.

• Use it at 1st signs of a cold to help reduce the risk of developing a full blown cold or you can even start using it when exposed to cold viruses!

Warnings

Ingredients

Aqua, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose* (1 %), Succinic Acid (1 %), DisodiumSuccinate (0.44 %), PCA (0.35 %), Phenethyl Alcohol, Zinc EDTA, Zinc Acetate, Polysorbate 80,
Menthol, Camphor, Sodium Saccharin, Eucalyptol.

Contains: Menthol, Camphor, Sodium Saccharin, Eucalyptol.

Directions

Apply 2-3 sprays per nostril immediately within the first 24-36 hours after feeling the
1st signs of a cold such as a tickle at the back of your throat, or sneezing.
You can even start using it when feeling at risk of catching a cold. Use up to 4 times a day. Avoid inhaling deeply. For best results, continue to use for 2 days after symptoms subside. Incline the nozzle outwards in the direction of your ear.

USAGE ADVICE

Apply 2-3 sprays per nostril immediately within the first 24-36 hours after feeling the 1st signs of a cold such as a tickle at the back of your throat, or sneezing. Incline the nozzle outwards in the direction of your ear and avoid inhaling deeply. Use up to 4 times per day until symptoms subside. You can even start using it when feeling at risk of catching a cold : use for up to 4 days only unless symptoms emerge and then discontinue use until symptoms subside

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stops cold I highly recommend this product. It is fast and effective in putting a stop to the first signs of cold and flu such as stuffy sinuses or scratchy throat. I Recommend that you keep a bottle for each family member in your medicine cabinet so that you can treat the first sign of cold or flu like symptoms immediately. This product is best used an hour before any food or drink is consumed to allow time for its active ingredients to treat the throat and sinus cavities to eliminate cold and flu like germs. Since using this product I have successfully avoided full blown colds and flu.

My symptoms rarely develop into full blown cold. I have found the produce in the local chemist so don't have to purchase from overseas.

Used as directed it has worked for me time after time. I keep a bottle handy so I can start using it at the very first sign of a cold. I am also going to start using it as a preventative when I am exposed or in an unavoidable situation. Great product.
