General Information

Dentafix Temporary Dental Cement is a ready-to-use temporary filling material to replace a lost filling in the case of an emergency or to temporarily seal a newly formed cavity. It is not a permanent filling material; recommended use is up to 4 weeks only.

Warnings

Consult your dentist within 24 hours of applying this product as Dentafix Filling Repair is only a temporary solution. Do not use on implants, dentures, crowns, bridges or to reaffix broken teeth. Do not use if there is swelling, redness or pain in the affected area. In that case, contact your dentist immediately. Do not apply to open wounds. ALWAYS READ THE LABEL - USE ONLY AS DIRECTED. IF SYMPTOMS PERSIST SEE YOUR HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL. Do not use if known to be allergic to this type of material.

Sulphate, Gylcol Esther, Barium Sulphate, Zinc Oxide, Acrylic Polymer.

Directions

Dentafix Temporary Filling Repair is not a glue - it is a dental cement that sets when it comes into contact with saliva, taking approx 30-40 mins to set. This is an ideal temporary solution and should be used for up to a max. of 4 weeks only.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE * Wash and dry hands thoroughly. * Carefully rinse out the cavity area with water leaving the area moist. *Squeeze out a small amount of product, rolling the product between your fingers to make a small cone. Press the 'cone' firmly into the cavity area using tool supplied. *Remove excess temporary filling material from side of tooth. Bite teeth together gently. This will ensure that the temporary filling material is in an even line with the rest of your teeth and any excess will be dispersed. Clean this away. Cement sets in 30-45 mins in contact with oral moisture. DO NOT CHEW FOR NEXT 2 HOURS.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Store in a cool, dry place (5-25 deg C). It is important that the cap is replaced tightly after each use. Due to sensitivity to moisture, close the tube immediately after removing the material. Getting unused cement wet may result in the material being no longer extractable. Use only what is needed to repair dental emergency.

Omg it worked almost immediately reducing discomfort. Filing now repaired but I’ve ordered my own tube for the medicine cabinet in case this happens again. Fantastic product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from For one use only, then you can throw 90% of it.. Works fine, however the tube is so badly design that after ONE use you can throw away 90% of it that has been hardened. Everytime I had to purchase another one and cost me perhaps 5 times for one use each. Still cheaper than going to the dentist for a temporary fix, however you feel stolen everytime you buy it. I tried everything sealing it in dried box with cap firmly closed or so, helped a bit for a little more if you use another fix soon otherwise nothing changes, all the tube will get hard somehow when you will need again.
